Roots to Recovery
In 2024, we began working with organizations in the Portland Metro Area to build a supportive community focused on the education and prevention of polysubstance use and fentanyl overdose. In 2025, thanks to generous OHA PHOCUS funding, we launched our Roots to Recovery coalition which centers community healing and storytelling in Black communities in the Portland Metro Area and beyond. Roots to Recovery will inform our second PHOCUS coalition, the Oregon Prevention and Treatment Alliance, which will launch in Spring 2026.
